I think its safe to say that Parker and I are ready to be done with the mudroom! Parker is super busy at work, and I’m ready to start cleaning up the mess that construction causes. We are making progress, but we still have a way to go. It’s been two weeks since the last update. In that time, the main task has been building the cabinet doors. Thats finished. Still to do:
- Install crown molding when it arrives on Tuesday
- Build a shelf for above the bench
- Install farmhouse board and batten on the walls
- Filling nail holes, sand, and caulk
- THEN we can paint!
So here is what it looks like now:

Right now, I am trying to pick out cabinet handles. Just like lights, there are thousands on the internet. I’m going to try not to waste too much time and energy looking around because here are two that I like that I found quickly:
